***A slight bow when still cello wrapped is normal in a KEM Plastic set that is this old, 12 years old. That is my opinion from dealing with these cards since then. The index cards which are just an add on and most do not sell them with it, if you can even find the 2008 set will be bowed since they were sent
separately not sealed.
Remember Kem PLastic is NOT 100% Plastic as you think of it. It is made of cellulose and acetate. By definition Cellulose is
(
an insoluble substance which is the main constituent of plant cell walls and of vegetable fibers such as cotton). It is NOT PLastic and will expand and contract with the humidity level!! Acetate is plastic. Think of KEM plastic as a mixture.

These are bridge size (2.25" x 3.5") and standard index as they use in many poker rooms throught the USA.

These are the REAL 2008 WSOP® Cards used at the Rio. These were the overruns.  52 cards, no jokers in a tournament set. All NEW, cello wraped inside a black cardboard tournament box.
I include 1 casino quality cut card per set (only yellow is available.the most popular) (not pictured). I looked and sellers are getting 50¢ + postage for 1 cut card and in many cases more.

***If you are not familiar with Kem Cards, All Kem cards are cellulose acetate which gives the Kem card its unique feel. Many think it is 100% plastic but it is not.  A Kem card after being bent by a player snaps back into shape easier than a 100% PVC (plastic card) which will retain some of its bend. The colors and especially back patterns do not fade or wear very easily as do some other "top" brands. If you want a sample Kem card email me and I will send you one out in 24 hours no charge. If you want a specific card please state this in your email, I will try to be
accommodating
. Sine they are cellulose/acetate they will start bowing if the humidity is too high and should be stored in the box with pressure on top of the cards to keep them flat. That is the nature of Kem Plastic.

These are certified KEM® playing cards, printed in April and May 2008 by The United States Playing Card Company, were the actual cards used at the Rio Casino in Las Vegas by all WSOP tournament players. These never made it off the shelf and are still sealed and cello wrapped in a black cardboard box, no jokers.
