HISTORIC TROLLEY, BUS and RAIL CAR MAKER!
ACF aka AMERICAN CAR & FOUNDRY, based in New Jersey, was founded in 1899 and made motor coaches and trolley cars in the early 1900's.
It made U.S. Army tanks during WW2
. Now it makes buses and railroad cars (it supplied
Union Pacific
and
Southern Pacific
). Over its life span it absorbed some 20 different companies including Faegol Motors, Minerva Motors, and Hall-Scott Motor Cars.
Here you have a set of ALL colors of the stock certificates ACF issued prior to the mid-1970's. Each features a macho male with anvil and sledgehammer, the old art deco ACF logo and very ornate borders.
