    Product Description:
This offering is for a lot of two (2) new-old-stock SportRack branded mounting clamps (Made in Canada) for one (1) set of skis. I am referring to this offering as "mounting clamps" only because that is all we are including with this listing. So there are no rails or mounting hardware to attach these clamps to a car. I don't know if there is a need for just the mounting clamps, but I have a box of extras and thought some folks might want to install them in places other than a car (for long-term storage...maybe somewhere in a garage as one example).
As illustrated in the pictures, the clamping mechanism is fairly straight forward and does not require any tools to secure or remove the skis. Although, you will have to be somewhat creative in securing/anchoring these mounting clips to a solid surface capable of holding your skis. They do have "feet" that extend beyond the mounting clip, but these "feet" are nothing more than a thin plastic base. I suppose you could drill holes in these feet...maybe one on each side...to anchor the mounting clamps to a 2" x 4" or drywall (or another flat/solid surface), but I would probably use a decent sized washer to give yourself plenty of surface area to cinch down a screw or bolt against the thin plastic feet referred to above.
In terms of condition, these are new and unused mounting clamps. The plastic housing and feet are still in good shape and the rubber inside the clamp that contacts the skis is still soft and pliable. Now they are still inexpensive plastic/rubber mounting clamps...so nothing special for sure...but their cosmetic and functional condition is still good (and they may offer some handy folks a safe and inexpensive long-term storage option for skis).

Note to international customers regarding shipping...
We apologize to those that feel some of our international shipping charges are too high. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case.
Note to international customers regarding customs...
We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery. Again, we apologize for these additional costs, but we cannot afford the penalties and fines that come with breaking customs' laws...so we have to strictly abide by them.
