This listing is for a single aftermarket
LED
bulb that is compatible with some ZLINE over-the-range vent hoods.

" section and our photos to confirm if this bulb will fit your application.
The bulb has a glass lens which keeps vapor and grease getting in contact with the LED emitting surface and makes for easily cleaning.
You must use the "
Pick a Bulb Color Temperature
" to select a light "color temperature". The first photo shows a side-by-side comparison of the two options.
"
Warm White
" light is a yellow hue, cozy color in the 2700K-3000K Kelvin temperature range. It is closest to the color of an incandescent or halogen bulb.
"
Daylight White
" light is crisp color tint in the 6000K - 6500K Kelvin temperature range. Some would say it has a slightly blue-ish hue.
Please note, this LED bulb's beam light angle will be wider, more of a flood light profile, whereas the halogen bulbs they replace are typically a more focused beam. The vast majority of customers have been satisfied despite the LED's wider beam. The second photo shows an example of the subtle difference, so please see that if you feel the beam angle is a concern for your application.
Will it Fit?
First, check
if the bulb itself can be removed
from the hood's stainless housing and retainer (see photo example).
The easiest way to verify fit is to remove the old bulb from the retainer and housing and measure the top of the bulb. If it is
1-3/8 inches at the widest point and has two straight pins at the other end
, then this is very likely the bulb.

Some hood models have a bulb that cannot be removed from the surrounding housing. An example is shown in the photo with a
red warning message
. If the bulb doesn't separate easily then you likely need to buy the whole unit, which is a different part which we do not sell.
If you have a removable bulb that is
2 inches wide across the top of the glass or has pins with nubs
, then this is not the correct bulb.

LED vs Halogen
This is an LED bulb to replace the older style halogen bulb that comes with many range hoods.
Here are reasons halogen bulbs are typically less desirable than LED bulbs:
Halogen bulbs will burn out quickly if you get grease on them. Even the grease from your fingers is enough to hurt the life of a traditional halogen bulb.
Halogen bulbs get hot enough to burn you if you accidentally touch it after it's been running.
Halogen uses more electricity.
Halogen has a shorter life.
LED bulbs use 10% of the electricity, run much cooler, and should last longer. You also get to select from two different color temperatures, which isn't an option with halogen bulbs.
