1916 [I'm fairly sure of the year after looking at postmark with a jeweler's loupe) lithographed Postcard captioned "Barge Loading Cotton at Demopolis Ala." showing Steamer John _____ helping barge Birmingham load cotton (? - sure doesn't look like cotton to me!) Marengo County Alabama.
Perhaps the steamer's name is JOHN CALLAWAY?

Postcard stock # is 56860 but publisher / printer is unidentified

As of 24 Sept 2020 you'll not find this postcard anywhere else on ebay.
postally used with a Demopolis 1916 (?) postmark; original stamp mostly removed; slight vertical crease left of center but card still "stiff" & soung; NEAR VERY GOOD
